بالنسبة للدراسة عن بعد هي دراسة بدأت بتطبيقها العديد من الجامعات الغربية خاصة (وخاصة الجامعات الأمريكية) والعربية عامة من سنوات قريبة لا تتعدى ستة ,سبعة سنوات او اكثر قليلا.

1 - إذا كانت الجامعة في الأصل معترف بها في بلدك و شهادتك التي تم أكتسابها من الجامعة بالدراسة عن بعد سوف تكون معترف بها اوتوماتيكيا(بشرط عدم ذكر ذلك بالشهادة).

2 - حصول على وظيفة اسهل (إذا شاء الله تعالى بالطبع) بعد التخرج حيث ان مسؤولي الوظائف في الشركات في الدول العربية بلا إستثناء لا يحبذون طلبة الدراسة عن بعد. فبحصولك على الشهادة بدون ذكر نوع الدراسة عليها يخول مسؤولي الوظائف على الإعتقاد بأن دراستك كانت بحضور المحاضرات التقليدية.

بالنسبة للجامعات المعترف بها فيفضل ان يتم أخذ هذه المعلومات من وزارة التعليم العالي في بلدك فهم لديهم المعلومة الأكيدة وبالطبع مع عدم ذكر نوع الدراسة حيث ان الدراسة عن بعد بالتأكيد لن تكون معترفة.
